Overview Service
Bioscience Research Foundation (BRF) is proud to have the largest Ecotoxicology department in India, providing comprehensive Ecotoxicology testing services for the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and biotechnology industries. Our Ecotoxicology department covers 26 different species, including birds, fish, algae, and plants, allowing us to test the toxicity of your compounds across multiple ecosystems.
At BRF, we are committed to delivering reliable and accurate results to our clients. Our experienced scientists use state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to conduct our Ecotoxicology studies, including high-throughput flow cytometers, automated imaging systems, and high-content screening systems.
Our Ecotoxicology services include the acute and chronic toxicity testing of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other chemicals, as well as the testing of environmental samples. We also offer aquatic toxicity testing, including the use of a flow-through system for fish testing, which allows us to provide highly sensitive and accurate results for our clients.
In addition to our standard Ecotoxicology testing services, we also offer customized tests, including bioaccumulation studies, toxicity to honey bees and earthworms, and soil microorganism toxicity tests.
Our team has extensive experience in eco-toxicological risk assessments, and we have worked on the registration of the first nano-fertilizer in India, which demonstrates our expertise in the field.

Our in-house cultures of honey bees, earthworms, and other organisms enable us to perform these tests quickly and accurately. Our reports are accepted by regulatory agencies worldwide, and we are accredited by Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
